CT Lesson 2 - How to use po and opo and oo and hindi in Tagalog





Today we will learn how to use po and opo, a word deviced to showing respect for someone older and how to say yes or no in Tagalog or Filipino Language. So let’s start.
  • Opo = older
  • Oo = younger
  • Hindi po = older
  • Hindi = younger
  1.     Opo is used only as yes for someone older
  2.     Po must be in a sentence when talking to someone older
  3.     To disagree to someone older, we would add po after the word no or hindi, so we say hindi po
  4.   Using oo as yes and hindi as no are used for a younger subject.
